La Industria

La Industria was birthed in 2002 with the vision to take ContraCorriente’s aim of “mentoring” further than it had done so far.

La Industria offers discipleship and training opportunities to young people, the main one being a 9-month program which has a strong emphasis on music and arts.

The program offers Bible teaching classes, a variety of music or art classes, and the opportunity to tour around different cities in Spain helping out and participating with different youth events.

About 20 young people have been able to be in the 9-month program so far, and about 130 in the summer camps.

We have seen lives completely changed, characters shaped, gifts discovered and sharpened, relationships restored, hearts healed, etc!

La Industria trainees create artistic productions which we offer to churches as a resource for the building of their youth groups and for outreach.

We have a fantastic number of opportunities to travel with the students to serve local churches of all denominations and sizes, all over the country.

Recently doors have been opened to go into high schools and we are planning on taking Jesus’ words and love to more and more students in the coming years.
