Growth
We are experiencing exciting growth in many areas!
Recently there has been growth in these areas:
- Increase in full time personal in the team
- Increase of young people interested in La Industria’s 9 month program
- Increase of local churches using the resources offered by La Industria
- Vision for more regional ContraCorriente events gathering scattered youth
- Vision for more trainees in La Industria’s 9 month program, equipping more young people for building the Church in Spain
- Greater awareness of the need and increase of the vision to offer training and support to youth workers and pastors
- Vision to impact the community directly around us
And therefore there has been growth in our needs. We need:
- More office space both for La Industria and ContraCorriente
- More practice rooms and classrooms for La Industria’s 9 month program
- Areas for outreach efforts in our community (i.e. youth club, art workshops, cafe house, concerts, etc.)
- More music and audio-visual equipment for both ministries
Our greatest current need is a building with more appropriate space for offices, classrooms, practice rooms and outreach events.We would like to purchase a warehouse to accommodate the ministries’ particular needs.

To purchase a warehouse with space for
- ContraCorriente offices
- La Industria offices
- Practice and classrooms
- Conference room
- Recording studio
- Dance studio
- Concert/event area
- Kitchen/restrooms/storage
Approximate space needed: 500m2 (5,382 ft2)
Approximate cost of above in the market: 400,000€ ($640,000)
How
We are mainly raising funds through contacts and churches in Spain, the UK and the USA.
While we raise the sufficient funds for the purchase we will continue to rent a warehouse.
Depending on the number of trainees in the 9-month program starting October each year, we will either stay at our current location and rent extra space nearby, or rent a whole different location. In either case, if we need to continue renting, we will have to spend some of the money raised to refurbish the warehouse and make it appropriate for the ministry work.
